The HYDROS Command Bus is used to power the Control as well as communicate with other HYDROS devices for the ultimate failsafe. Solenoids to control reverse osmosis systems. The exact current being supplied by each port is continuously monitored by the Control, so if a motor or pump quits drawing current or draws too much, you will be immediately notified. The Drive Ports provide switched 12V DC power for running small lights, motors, pumps, fans, and other accessories. Capacitive non-contact liquid level sensors.Optical level sensors (single and dual).A Sense Port is a generic input port that can accept data from numerous different types of sensors. HYDROS devices include several Sense Ports. The Sense Port is a new concept in aquarium parameter measurement. HYDROS Command Bus connections to transfer data and power to devices.Internal health monitoring to report voltages, currents, CPU status, and the internal temperature of each device.A fast dual-core 32-bit processor that allows control decisions to be made within each device.Set up is quick and easy, making this ideal for both beginner and advanced hobbyists. Ability to monitor and control your HYDROS device(s) locally through WiFi HYDROS Control 2 is a small, general-purpose aquarium controller capable of managing and controlling all the main functions of an aquarium.Control your HYDROS device(s) from anywhere in the world using the technologically advanced HYDROS cloud-based app. What you can expect from your HYDROS Smart Device The IP65 rated HYDROS enclosure and aircraft-style connectors ensure long-term reliability in the face of splashes and corrosive salt spray. HYDROS devices look like industrial controllers because they are built to function in the harsh environment of a marine aquarium. IP65 Rated – Splash Proof, Dust Proof, and Secure Connection ![]() Every HYDROS product is a smart device with its own CPU and scheduling capabilities. Use any HYDROS device by itself or connect multiple devices as part of a larger automated aquarium system with NO single point of communication failure. Versatile and Expandable without Extra Modules All HYDROS products are engineered, assembled, and supported in the USA. The Control 2 operates on a HYDROS Safety Net and is rated IP65 to keep your equipment and aquatic life alive and thriving. Control X2 can be used as a standalone controller for saltwater aquariums, or freshwater planted tanks, or it can be added to other HYDROS Controls to build a more extensive system. Monitor temperature, detect leaks, power equipment, control outlets, and more with ease through the HYDROS App. ![]() Then just switch from the demo pump to the actual output on the Wave Engine once it has been added.HYDROS Control X2 is a small, general-purpose aquarium controller capable of managing and controlling all the main functions of an aquarium. You can also create a demo pump to use with the schedules so you can set them up before adding the Wave Engine to the collective. ![]() Make some screenshots of the way you have the outputs setup on it so it will make it easier to add those setups to the collective. Any setups you have on the wave engine will be deleted and you will have to set it up again. Once it has been created then add the Wave Engine. Log into the X2 with the app and then create the collective. Once you get them connected together you can start a collective. The power packs that connect directly to the command buss cannot be used with a Wave Engine or a XP8 connected to the buss. The one on the Wave Engine will work for both. Also you will need 2 terminators and will need to remove the power pack on the X2. That close the 1ft length should be fine. To connect them together you will need a control buss cable. It looks like you have a Wave Engine LE and a X2.
